Pain Free

We combine a range of different manual therapy techniques to create balance within the body leading to better movement, flexibility, performance, reduction & elimination of pain.

We practice a full body manual therapy approach based on releasing & normalising the fascial system to complement our exercise rehabilitation approach. This results in;

  • Pain reduction
  • Improved postural alignment
  • Improved position & balance of the body
  • Improved muscle activation
  • Improved movement
  • A greater sense of freedom & function in the body

The fascial system is one complete weblike structure of connective tissue from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet. It houses all of the muscles while blending into the tendons, ligaments, bones & organs of the body while influencing all of these systems.

Naturally over time & through injury we develop compensations, tightening & stiffening in the fascial structures of the body which can lead to a lot of pain symptoms.

One example would be if someone was to sit on a bus in the same seat & look out of the window to the same side day in day out they will start to develop a compensation & stiffening in one side of the neck & upper body creating a fixed rotation.

Another would be if a person sits working at their desk for long periods of time, which is quite common in our modern day working lives, then the fascia on the front of their body is likely to tighten drawing the head & shoulders forward over time which works to create the posture of the person.

Our manual therapy approach addresses these compensations through functional lines or “trains” of tissues throughout the body by relieving them through our clinical correction massage process.

This technique is extremely effective for relieving pain while improving all aspects of movement & function making it a great choice for those looking to get out of pain all the way up to the athlete looking to improve their game.
